Wow. In America, sdoption applications take about three years to process in some cases, and the paperwork takes hours to fill out (per session). Also, the application fee alone can cost around a thousand dollars (US).
I can see where that looks a little funny, to just take a few weeks. Mary means that the background checks will take a couple weeks, then they will contact him about the rest of the adoption process.
And I am glad you mentioned the cost, because I intend to touch on that detail later as well. I will say this much, Todd is in for some wallet-related surprises!
