It just dawned on me. She hasn’t done this in a long time. She’s using muscles that haven’t seen a lot of exercise in awhile. She’s going to REALLY hurt in the morning… and she didn’t get the fishie.

Selkie is soooo out of practice hunting fish.

I, for one, expect Todd to put his foot down – and insist Selkie comes to the falls every weekend “to practice” until she can catch one.

Let’s not forget, wild fish have to dodge all kinds of predators to stay alive.
As far as these fish are concerned Selkie is just a big blue otter.
