Today a lot of my favorite webcomics (as well as Wikipedia and other websites I frequent regularly) blacked out their front pages in protest against the US Senate’s Anti Piracy legislation currently under consideration.
I hate the very idea of these bills. As an independent content creator I am abhorrently against a legislation that could potentially shut down my entire website because somebody linked to a funny Youtube video, or used an image of Disney’s Snow White as a gravatar. If I updated the strip on Wednesdays I would join the blackout, but as is, I simply encourage everyone to learn more about SOPA and PIPA, and decide for yourselves if this is something you want the American legislature to greenlight.
