For those that don’t remember Jessie, she was the shoe clerk that appeared here.
This is the end of the Return to the Orphanage mini-arc. Hope you all had fun getting re-acquainted with Selkie’s various friends, enemies, and in-betweens. There are two more strips left before we start the next long Chapter story though; two reader-requested side character visitations. Before we start the next chapter, we’re gonna see how Jessie the shoe clerk is doing, then Todd’s siblings Antoine and Marta will get an official appearance.
I have also, by request, enabled Bookmarking to the site. Hopefully it will make archive binges easier.

My rule of thumb for Amanda is that she is a jerk and a bully, but she’s also an eight year old kid. When you’re that young, you feel things a lot more intensely than you do as a grown up.

I am happy to announce a new item for your Selkie experience. I have decided to start doing monthly Donation Incentive extra images. If I may direct your attention to the right side of the site, you will see a purple Donation button, and above it a small sample of the Donation Incentive. A donation of any amount will recieve the full-size image. For the time being I will need to mail the images manually, so I will apologize in advance for the lack of immediacy.
I also wish to address a concern that is very important to me: those of you who have ALREADY made a donation, before there was an additional incentive to do so. I have not forgotten your generosity, so those of you who have already made a donation, keep an eye on your inboxes. Over the next day I will scour my Paypal records and performing a one-time retroactive gifting of the new Incentive. I’m not going to tell you NOT to donate again, but it is not necessary to make a second donation to receive the new image.
And even if you are unable to make a donation, I want you all to know that I am thankful to everyone for your readership and continued support. You all make my Mondays and Thursdays AMAZING.

Been awhile since I did a Sketch Saturday bonus update. Happy Independance Day to my fellow Americans, and happy weekend to everyone else.
I drew this bonus sketch at work, and on my second break I did a different sketch because I wanted to draw something that wasn’t Selkie related. It was gonna be clockwork mechanical wings, but it became a generic Elf Mage somehow:
I am now back in town from my trip to Florida. We visited my brother’s future in-laws (they’re very nice people who treated us like family the entire time, stuffed us to the gills with food, and gave us mangos from their very own backyard mango tree as gifts to take home. I love mangos as much as Selkie loves fishies. ). I had the last two strips done before I left, but this one was done at the wire. I think this strip may be the latest I have ever missed a deadline… got it posted about half an hour late! I apologize to all the early readers that check right at midnight.
But never fear, I bear good tidings! Firstly, if you have been missing Selkie and Todd during this Orphanage Visitation mini-arc, check in this upcoming Saturday for a 4th of July Sketch Day bonus update!
